Ray Brinegar has been a strong and reputable builder in the market for many years. I worked with him in 2003 when he constructed a contract home for my family. In late 2012, he was contracted to renovate and construct an addition to my existing home in Midland, Georgia. My wife and I acquired the property in 2009, and our expanding family quickly changed the dynamics of our home. Ray was extremely helpful in the early planning stages of the renovation. He gave guidance in the structural and cosmetic changes contemplated in the project. This was the first remodel project my family undertook, and the questions were many. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and completely no matter how small or ignorant. Ray brought in field experts to help mitigate any concerns my wife and I had in creating new and shifting existing space.

Our remodel was significant as we modified over half of our entire home and completely changed the exterior in the rear of our property. Ray was able to create a large living space for our family room with a large closet, hardwood floors, and custom entertainment cabinetry which began as a concept. Our wish list included an additional laundry room, two full bedrooms and bathrooms, and a screened porch with a fireplace. Ray helped create space for an exterior half bath to accommodate guests of our new swimming pool. He worked tirelessly with our pool contractor to design a coping for our swimming pool, which makes the entire backyard magazine worthy. Ray also took a concept for burying our trampoline and was able to make this a reality. Beyond our initial vision for the exterior, Ray was able to work with our landscaping company to create a seamless transition from pool area to yard and playground area with grass, straw, and mulch.

During the process, I quickly learned the challenges that surrounded a renovation project. However, Ray never let these challenges deter our vision. He was creative and helpful with his vast knowledge and experience, and was able to walk my family through each decision.
